About:Chinese Embasy in Ireland

Hi ,

I am travelling to China on Thursday morning to Shanghai with a friend. He is waiting on his passport to be delivered to him from the Greek consulate. Hi current passport is not out of date but has in between 4 and 5 months validity left.

If my friend gets his actual passport on monday will he be able to get a visa for wednesday?

If he gets his new passport on monday and goes into the Chinese consulate on tuesday will he be able to get his visa for the next day?

Also if someone was granted a Chinese visa by the consulate could they be refused entrance into China if they had less than 6 months validity left on their passport.

Thank you for your help :)

Louis

If your friend gets his actual passport on Monday, then he has to submit visa application to China embassy in Dublin before 12:00 and apply for express service of 3 working days processing, then he is able to get a visa on Wednesday. If he goes into the embassy on Tuesday, you can't get his visa on Wednesday.

If someone is granted a Chinese visa by the conuslate/embassy, they can enter China even if there is less than 6 months validity on his passport.
