About:Chinese Embassy in Canada

My wife and I would like to visit China with an itinerary which would include (order of visit) Ottawa - Beijing, Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Beijing - Ottawa. What VISA entry status, as in number of entries, do we require?

Your wife and you require a multiple entry visa per person because you enter Mainland China for three times in total,
First Entry: Ottawa - Beijing
Second Entry: Hong Kong - Shenzhen
Third Entry: Hong Kong - Beijing
