what where the dangers and risks of the silk road??

You mean in the old times? It is a long route through many other countries. The road condition is not good, including deserts. People should care about the safty of themseves and the goods. The weather condition is also uncertain.

There was lots of bandits that wanted to steal things from the travelers that were on the silk road. There was not enough water for then to drink because it was very hot.
