Hi
I'm planning to spend 8 days in Hong Kong, which area is more modern and new is it causeway bay or kowloon to live in and reach shopping mall by just walking no need for transportation? should I choose a hotel in kowloon or causeway bay?
I'm traveling with my 3 old son which area is more child friendly ( lots of play grounds ,gardens, arcades, entertainment shops, toy shops, swimming pools, etc)?

I know Hong Kong is famous in manufacturing a lot of (shoes, brand name clothes, electronics) is it cheaper to shop from the factory it self, and if so where can I find them?

Thanks a lot

I think causeway bay is busier than Kowloon. Causeway bay is a good place for shopping, dining and nightlife in Hong Kong. The famous Victoria Park is just located in the eastern part of Causeway Bay. For shopping, you may go to the ultra-modern Times Square, the Japanese department stores and the fashion boutiques.
