About:Beijing Attractions

Hi. Are Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Beihai Park, Jingshian Park, Shichachai, Houhai, Bell and Drum Tower near each other? Is it walking distance from one to another or is there a need to take a bus/subway/cab?

yeah, they are near to each other, but it needs time to walk between them, you will have to take a taxi or a bus.

Thank you Mr. Carl :) I was wondering if you can list the following attractions in order, according to their proximity. I just want to maximize our 3 day stay in Beijing. We will stay in a Hostel located in Xi Xiang,Dong Cheng District so that is going to be our starting point. Im sorry for asking too much of a favor :)

Jingshian Park
Beihai Park
Forbidden City
Tiananmen Square
Shichachai
Bell and drum tower
Houhai
Yonghe Gong (Lama Temple)
Temple of Confucius
Temple of Heaven
Beijing Zoo

I have been to Beijing, I don't know the order of proximity but I want to give you advice- don't go to the Bejing Zoo. It's quite a (bad) site to see. They treat there animals very poorly and are all caged up very small.
