Hi all, my spouse and i will be in HK on the 23th of June and we will be staying in Bridal Tea House Hotel at Yaumatei.

I need help on the following:
1. What is the average travelling expenses for different modes of transport, taxi, bus etc. Is $100hkd/day enough for travelling around hongkong, to the different places of interest etc?

2. How do i get to Bridal Tea House Hotel (Yaumatei) from Hong Kong Internationl Airport if i want the cheapest mode of transport? If i do so by taking a taxi, how much would it cost?

3. Do i need to book tickets in advance for famous attractions such as, Ocean Park, Star Ferry etc?

Thanks for the help provided! =))

Hi, it is hard to value the expenses you may need since no idea about your travel routes. Anyway, taxi fare is generally expensive in HK and you'd better make full use of the HK metro.

From the airport to the hotel, you can take bus E21 from the airport to Island Harbourview, then walk about several minutes to the hotel. It costs about HKD14.

You have no need to book the tickets of those attractions. You can get it on the spots.
