About:24 Solar Terms

Hi everybody,

I'm studying Chinese culture and it's very interesting to me, to understand the significance, meaning, applied to every day life of these 24 solar terms.

Please, could some master explaining how changes the life of a person during these each term?

In example: 8 september: white dew, dew curdles. What will change in my life? :-)
What is better to do on 8 september and what is better to avoid?

I'd like to know how these terms could change my life and how interpreting them correctly.

Thank you very much for your kind help and answers.

Love and Peace for Everybody.

Tiziano

They just are climatic elements to govern agricultural arrangements in ancient China, but it has nothing to do with one's personal life.

Hi , guys, I just saw the message and I do believe and it is the fact that the 24 solar terms have a huge influence on human lifes, how to eat good and healthy during a certain solar term, how to behavior, how to drink healthily and so on. It is now the Mang Zhong, it is getting hotter and the cereal grows fast, human-being will be influenced by the hot weather, it is very easy to lose temper and sometimes it is hard to control the mood. So it is suggested man should go to bed earlier and wake up earlier, go to forest for moment peace and do some indoor sports...something like that. If you want to know more, please leave message to me. bye~~

Dear Mr. Bruce,

thank you very much for your kind answer, but I'm not so sure that the ancient sages applied this only for agricoltural arrangements :-) my feeling is that if it exists a phenomena that makes growing vegetal life in some way it has an influence also on human growing, mind, emotional status, physical status and so on.
I'm studying I Ching and intuitively considering everything flowing and changing I bet that during that 24 solar terms inside our body and mind it happens some intercorrelated change.
... but for now it's only an hypothesis!
Thanks again and best regards.

Dear Winnie, thank you very much for your kind and very appreciated answer, I'm studying Chinese culture from 1977 and I'm sure that your culture is more human and advanced than ours.
I was very impressed the first time I read "Tao Te Ching" and after many years I tried with help of an artist and a Shaolin Monk to write an illustrated book of Tao "Tao Te Ching - Art and Beauty" and other two volumes "Art and Beauty to the Infinite" inspired by Chinese culture and personal knowledge of Master's teachings. I'm so happy for our new Friendship and I'd like to ask you an industrial quantity of questions about your culture! I'm looking forward for your news, thank you again and I send you a big hug from Italy. Tiziano
