Hi there,

I am a Chinese Passport holder with Australian PR VISA. The current passport I have is already an replacement Passport of my first Chinese Passport, and it was recently expired on the 28th Dec,2010.

My questions are please:

1). Do I need to renew this passport again or do I need to apply for a brand new Chinese Passport?

2). In either case, what documents do I need to submit?

3). I was asked to go the Chinese Embassy in Canberra last time I renewed this passport. Do I need to travel to Canberra again this time or is mail service acceptable now? I am currently living in Adelaide and there is no local Consulate available in SA.

I would really appreciate it if someone could please reply to my email with some answers. I am planning to travel to China in May 2011 so certain would like to and need to get my passport ready as soon as possible.

Lastly, if I may ask one more question. In 2008, on my way back to Australia I entered Hong Kong as a Chinese passport holder with Australian PR VISA, I was granted to stay 30 days. Would this still be the case, or would I need to apply for some special pass entering Hong Kong this year.
