Hello,I,my husband and two kids will travel to Beijing for 5days in April,I want to going to the office in Los angeles in person apply for a visa for 4 of us,is it ok for me to do all the papers work while i am there alone ?.We are a US citizen,we go there as a tourist, I think,we need a L visa,can you let me know when i can go and apply for a visa because it 2 months ahead,is it ok that i apply now? You can submit visa applications for all your family, personal appearance is needed only when visa officers deem necessary. China visa is valid for 3 months from issue date, if you will visit China in April, you can start now. The regular processing takes 4 working days at Chinese consulate.
