Question

Our family of 4 plan to visit Shanghai & Hangzhou at the end of March, 2011.  Is it a good time to go?  We will be joining a tour but at the end of the tour, we would like to stay in the West Lake area of Hangzhou for a couple of nights. We would like suggestions of some clean hotels within walking distance to the Lake and other attractions, preferrably under $100 US. Your help is sincerely appreciated!

It is a nice time to visit Shanghai and Hangzhou, mild and pleasant. For a hotel near the west lake, you can consider about Ramada Plaza Hangzhou Haihua which is about 100m away to the West Lake.
