About:Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

Hi I will be travelling internationally from Los Angeles to the Philippines. I will have a 24-hour lay over in guangzhou before my flight to philippines. Will i be able to get out of the airport and explore the are a little bit since i will have a lot of time to spare.

No, you can not go outside the airport without a visa. You may apply for a transit visa at the airport visa office. 24 hours is a long time. It is a nice idea to go downtown.
