About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

I will be visiting Beijing for less than 48hrs. I came from the U.S. to South Korea to visit my son and just thought to visit China for a little while (less than 48hrs). Would i need to purchase a visa for that length of time?

Yes, you need to apply for a tourist visa to China even though you will only stay in Beijing for less than 48 hours.
