Will it snow in Beijign on february 1-8, 2011? what are the activities for chinese new yr?

hello there!!! I'll be in Beijing on february 1-8, 2011. I just want to ask if there is snow there and how is the tourist by that time? is it peak season? and what are the activities for chinese new yr? thankssss ;)

It seldom snow in Guangzhou and it is not the peak tourist time during the Chinese New Year in Guangzhou, but it is a peak time for inter-city transportation.
