About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

Hi,
I am British and have a year long contract as a teacher in South Korea.
I am hoping to go to China for an 8 day holiday in March/May but have just read the note on your website about arc cards.
My arc card expires on 11 July 2010, which means I have just under 6 months left. Does this mean I will be unable to get a tourist visa?
I'd really appreciate your advice on this matter.

in this case, you may try to process your visa in Busan through a travel agency there. They accept visa applications with ARCs under 6 months validity. Read the Busan consulate page, you can contact any one of the agencies listed there for details.

Ms. Skaith-

I just recently used New World Travel in Busan. I live outside of Seoul, also with less than 6 months left on my visa, and this agency was able to help with no problems. I contacted a few different agencies in Busan and this was the only one that would do everything through the mail. You can contact them at hotmail.com|nwt8888 for more information. Hope this helps!
