I want to visit china, I am a uk citizen but want to apply outside the uk.  I will be travelling in cambodia, loas and vietnam.  Which country would be easiest to apply for the china visa.  thanks

You can apply from Chinese embassy in either Cambodia (as others said, you may be hard to get visa in Cambodia now if you don't reside or stay there for 1 or 2 months) or laos, as well the consulate in in Hu Chi Minh City. It is easy for you to get visa there.
