I have already a scheduled flight to Dubai on next week, do I need to confirm my flight schedule.

Yeah. Due to the bad weather or some other unforeseeable reasons of the airline companies, there might be some changes before your departure. In order to smooth your trip, you are suggested to double confirm your flight with the airlines before departure.
