There is direct cross-border coach from HK to Chang'an Town Dongguan. You can board the bus at Metropark Hotel Causeway Bay from Hk and get off at Chang'an Hotel, Chang'an Town, Dongguan. It costs about HKD110. Only HKD or Rmb is available. You can try Bafang Inn Hotel which is at the center of the town. You can find halal food restaurant at Changqing Lu, such as Cao Yuan La Mian Wang(草原拉面王）. Temperature in March and April in Changan Town is around 20C. It is warm and pleasant.
