About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

Hello,

I am planning to take five day trip to Shanghai for the upcoming Lunar New Year and I was wondering if I needed a tourist visa. I am an American and my Alien Registration Card will be valid for over six months. Do you have a website that has a list of legitimate travel agencies that can help me? If I plan on taking tours and visiting other parts of China (like Beijing), does that alter what visa I should apply for? Thank you for your time.

You need a China tourist visa, the official website that has a list of legitimate travel agency designated by China embassy in Seoul is wrriten on this page, please read the information on this page carefully, but it is in Korean Version, you need to find a Korean friend to translate it for you. The visa doesn't alter if you also have Beijing Tour(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/package/beijing.htm) besides Shanghai Tour(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/package/shanghai.htm)
