I will be in Shanghai in March staying at The Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel, could you tell me the best way to get to a station where I can get the Bullet Train to Pudong International Airport early morning approx 6-00am.?

Do you mean you want to take the Shanghai Maglev Train(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/cityguides/shanghai/getting-around.htm) ? The first train departs at 6:45am from Longyang Road. Thus, you can take the airprot shuttle bus night line from People's Square to Longyang Road Subway Station to catch the maglev train.
