About:Packing Tips for Traveling China

Hello I will be taking a trip to Beijing in September 2011. It is a guided tour, but I have 2 days out of 9 that are free. Can you suggest any places that would be nice to visit outside of the usual tourist attractions. I like to get to know about the people and their culture when I travel. Also can you let me know what the weather will be like. Thank you.

I think you may go to the vegetable markets, wholesale markets, parks or just take a walk along the street. Weather in Beijing(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/climate/beijing.htm) in September is cool and pleasant, with mild temperature and plenty of sunshine.
