About:Chinese Consulate in Lagos

I live and work in China and I would like to apply for a spouse Visa for my husband who is also a frequent business traveler to China

He will go back to Nigeria to apply.

I have been able to obtain all possible relevant documents which are :
1. A copy of my passport with all relevant visa pages
2. A stamped copy of my company certificate
3. A letter of authorization , support and invitation from my company
4. Notary public authentication notice duly signed from the provincial capital
5. A copy of my work permit
6. Marriage certificate copy

I would like to find out if it will be necessary for him to have an Invitation letter from the Foreign Affairs Department in my city in addition to these documents or not , in order to be able to apply in Nigeria

And will it also be necessary for him to have a health certificate copy since he's already a frequent traveler to China

Looking forward to your much anticipated reply .

yes, it is necessary for you to get an invitation letter from the Foreign Affairs Department in your city. A health certificate is required for him to apply for a spouse visa if he will stay in China for more than 6 months.
