About:Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

was wondering if my daughter only has a photocopy of her passport and a reciept from the visa office saying she has handed in her visa to get her new visa will that be enough to get the security checks to fly within china?

It is generally OK for her to take the flight with copy passport and visa office certification in this case.
