About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

Hi, I am travelling through this airport on my way to Bangkok, Thailand. I am originating from Canada and I am very nervous about this as I have not travelled much before and will be on my own. I am travelling on China Eastern Airlines and have a 4 hour transfer time to transfer to my flight to Bangkok. Will this be enough time? Do I need a Visa? Do I need to claim my bags and re check them? how difficult will it be to find my way?

4 hours is enough for the transfer, and you don't need a visa since you won't leave the airport, right? There is no need to claim your bags, since you will just lay over the airport. There are sign board in the airport directing you to do the transferring, it is not so difficult. Please take it easy.

it will still be better to have a visa. My nephew was put on a plane back to the US because his plane broke down in China, he was on his way to Vietnam on business but the Chinese passport station did not care, they put him on a plane headed back to the US.
