There are many attractions in China(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/attraction/). For kids, I think Panda base in Chengdu, tiananmen square, birds nest and forbidden city in Beijing, Qinling Zoological Park in Xian, and huangpu river and the bund in Shanghai are must.0

There are wonderful beaches in Hainan, the south of China, Hong Kong is an exciting city with museums which include children's interests, and Hong Kong Disney. There are mountains and hiking, Pandas in Chengdu and old cities to explore in the Southwest parts of China, like Dali and Guilin. In Qingdao, there is a zoo which includes a petting zoo area, Polar Undersea World, with live animals, stuffed animals, and a dolphin and whale show which are amazing. More beaches, and of course, restaurants with wonderful and interesting food everywhere you go. Big cities have museums, and there are historical sites everywhere you travel.0
