About:China Tourist Visa

hey,
i am a german passport holder and i have a stopover of 20 hours in Shanghai. I wondered if it is possible to leave the airport and see the city without a visa or if a visa is required?

Visa is not required for you to transit through Pudong Airport or Hongqiao Airport of Shanghai, provided your valid passports, visas for the onward countries, final destination tickets and have booked seats.
