About:Six Western Palaces

Hi, I will be staying around Hangzhou during my trip in Dec 2010.
I am thinking of going to 1221 for dinner. How far is 1221 from Hangzhou?
Is there a better place for Shanghainese food in Hangzhou?

As I known, 1221 is a famous restaurant in Shanghai, 1221, Yan'anxi Lu, Changning District. It takes about 30-40 minutes by bullet train from Hangzhou to Shanghai. There are several nice Shanghainese food restaurants in Hangzhou, such as Crystal Garden(玉麒麟) which is located at 12 dongpu Lu Shangcheng District, Hu Hang Xiao Cai(Shanghai- Hangzhou Dish) at the corss corner of Pinghai Lu, Dongpo Lu Shangcheng District. Most nice restaurants like these mentioned above are provide both Shanghainese food and Hangzhou food.
