i'm planning to visit hangzhou this early march for about 3 days.

Question

I'm planning to visit Hangzhou this early March for about 3 days. And then, I want to go to Putuoshan & Huangshan from there. What is the best and the cheapest way to go? Would it be Hangzhou-Putuoshan-Huangshan or Hangzhou-Huangshan-Putuoshan ? Considering i also want to get to Guilin after exploring this 3 places, should i go to back to Hangzhou and take train to Guilin? Please advise and thank you. warm regards, rene

Both are OK because there is no direct connection between Putuoshan and Huangshan. You should visit them via Hangzhou. You can take bus from Hangzhou East Bus Station to Shenjiamen, Zhoushan. After arrive in Zhoushan, take bus to Banshengdong Ferry terminal. Then take ferry to Putuoshan. When go to Huangshan(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/cityguides/anhui/huangshan/) , you need to back to Hangzhou and then take bus from Hangzhou West Coach Station to Huangshan. You have no need to go back to Hangzhou, you can directly take train to Guilin from Huangshan.
