About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Hi everyone!

I have a question to ask...

I'm currently in China at the moment. I got a double entry visa, duration of stay is 90 days. My visa says I have to enter before January 20, 2011. My question is, do I have to renew my visa or get a new visa?

I went to China at October 4, 2010....so that means my 90 days is till January 4, 2011, right? My airplane ticket back to the USA is January 20, 2011. I passed my 90 days....does that mean I have to get a new visa? Or is it okay for me to stay another couple of days? They said that if I leave China during the time I'm here and go to another country it would be okay. But what if I plan to visit Hong Kong AFTER January 4? Can I return back to China? Would I be able to fly back to the USA on January 20? Or do I have to visit Hong Kong BEFORE the 90 days is up?

This has been bothering me for some time. And I would soooo appreciate it if somebody would give me some replies or suggestions or something because everyone else I asked doesnt know.

Thank you so much!!!

No, sir, you do not need to get a new visa. Since your visa is a double entry, enter before Jan.20, you just can leave China (to Hong Kong) before Jan.4 or maybe earlier(the 90 days should be counted from the date you enter China) and enter again before the very date of Jan.20. And you can stay in China for another 90 days upon the second entry. Please noted that DO NOT overstay your first 90 days to catch your plane, it is not allowed and you may get in trouble.
