About:China Customs Declaration

I usually carry 2 cameras on my holidays, a large SLR for taking high quality pictures and a small waterproof point and shoot camera for when swimming etc and for handy snapshots.
I see there is a restriction on cameras. Is it possible to take in 2 cameras? Will I have to pay some fee or is it simply forbidden. Would customs take one away if I had 2 on entry?

China customs has strict policies for the luggage taking when entering China. It stipulates that one person can only take one camera. I'm not sure whether you can take 2 cameras if you are travelling China as a group.
