Myfamily will be visiting Hong Kong-Shenzen on back-packing concept in April 11,and plan a night stay in Shenzen Dongmen area prior to departure back to Kuala Lumpur via Shenzen I/N Airport,the following evening.Beside WOW and window shops on the first day, we plan to go to happy valley the next day.If we have 5 hrs only to spare,is it ample and worth going?.If possible how do we go about?.How far KFY rest.from say Holiday Inn Express or nearby hotels  .

I'm a little bit confused. It is certainly ok for your one day visit to WOW. I think you mean you only have 5 hours time to visit Shenzhen Happy Valley(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/attraction/guangdong/shenzhen/happy-valley/) from Holiday Inn Express, is that ok? It is just less than 30 minutes' driving from the hotel to happy valley, so I think your plan works.
