About:Shenzhen Travel

Hello,

My family and I intend to travel from Hong Kong to Shenzhen, then from there to Guangzhou, thereafter to Hong Kong. In Shenzhen, we will be staying in GreenTree Inn.

Can you let me know the best mode of transportation to communute to all these places, how long will the journey take and the fare. The group consist of adults and elderly parents above 60 years.

Any interesting places in Guangzhou that we can visit upon arrival? Which will be the preferred mode of transportation when visiting those places?

Thanks

Sharon

Well, from Hong Kong to Shenzhen, you have to take a train from downtown area to Luohu border firstly. After go through the border, you'd better take a taxi to the hotel nearby.

The Shenzhen Railway Station is also located in walking-distance from the border. There are trains departing to Guangzhou frequently, and only take 70 minutes. Not problem for elders. Finally, you could take a train from Guangzhou East Railway Station back to Hong Kong. But you have to book the train tickets in advance.
Ps: the train tickets from Guangzhou to Hong Kong could be purchase on the HK MTR official website as early as possible and collect in Hong Kong as well.

Seems there are not any interesting place around Guangzhou Railway Station. Once arrive there, you could take a cab or metro the Guangzhou Yuexiu Park(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/attraction/guangdong/guangzhou/yuexiu.htm) for a visit.
