I just came from Chengdu. When you arrive to airport ignore the ones that come to you to offer you transportation. They want charge you too much money. One lady was asking me for 120 us dollars to take me downtown, but this not my first trip to China so I know better. Its difficult to find someone that speaks English, especially the taxi drivers. Many taxis over there and they charge less than 100 yuan. Of course you must have chinese yuan for transportation. It takes like 25 to 30 minutes to get to city, depending on where you go. Also, try not to get chinese money at airports, they always charge too much also. If you need it, try to get only 100 yuan, thats all you need.(actually less) Good luck. Joe
