Hi, I'm travelling from Los Angeles to Shanghai and from Shanghai to Delhi on December 15th 2010 by China Eastern airlines.I have a lay over of 20 hours at Shanghai airport. Are there any good and cheap hotels INSIDE the airport? I carry Indian passport and valid US visa. Are there any cool things to do near the airport?How much does it cost to take the visa for one day and get out of the airport?Can I get this visa at the airport?Thank you very much.

A three-star-rated hotel is located on the Transfer Level of the main terminal building. If you want to go outside the airport, you need a visa or you can apply a transit permit from the  office of Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection at the airport, but it is not sure you can get it. Thus, you'd better apply a visa in advance. There seems no interesting places near the airport, if you want, you can take the airport shuttle bus to diwntown for fun.
