About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

I have been living and working in China for the past 7 years.
I have a Z visa and a work permit.
I have married a China national and my question is:
How long must I be married before I am eligible to remain in China indefintely
I mean if I lost my job, would I be forced to leave even though I'm married to a Chinese National?
Thanks

If the marriage lasts for 5 years with your Chinese wife, you are eligible to apply for Permanent Residence Permit of P.R.China. If you lost your job, you can apply for one year Residence Permit for family visit at the local Exit & Enter Department because your wife is Chinese national. You don't need to leave. please take the marriage license, your wife's ID card, Household Registration or residence permit.
