About:China Customs Declaration

Hi there! I'm travelling to China soon with my family and I was wondering if I'm required to pay tax for my two Apple items.
First is my iPod touch (3rd Generation) and second is my MacBook Pro (late 2009 model). These are for personal use only and I will be taking these with me when I leave China.

We are staying for a month and flying to China from New Zealand to Singapore to GuangZhou.
Could you please clarify which items need to be taxed and why?

Thanks, May

I think you have to pay taxi for one of the two, but not sure which one.

Alright, but how much would I have to pay? And both these items have been used; would that influence whether or not I have to pay any tax?

It is really a complex problem, Ms May. My friends say that the custom officers told if they are for personal use and only one pieces for each product of Apple, it is okay to enter without paying tax. But it seems there are example contrarily.
