Hi,

My husband and I are planning to go to Shenzhen and Hongkong on 27th to 31st May 2011. Can you please advise the following:-
1) We are bruneian - do we need to apply for visa especially to Hongkong?
2) Which hotel to stay in? Our aim is sightseeing and shopping.
Preferable hotel thats in walking distance to shopping complex and public transportation.
3) Is there any restaurant that serves muslim food and how about the fast food?
4) Any form to fill up upon arrival at the airport?
5) Is there any website where I can download map of Shenzhen?

Thanks.

1. No, you don't have to apply for visa.
2. In Hong Kong, there are so many places for your choice. Suggested that you stay in Tsim Sha Tsui or Causeway Bay, both of the which are most prosperous centers in Hong Kong. As for Shenzhen hotel, you could consider these ones in Luohu area.
3. Fast food could be found anywhere either in Hong Kong or in Shenzhen. There are also halal restaurants, you'd better ask the hotel staffs for recommendations.
4. There is no special requirements, except of these regular procedures.
5. You'd refer to the Shenzhen Map(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/map/shenzhen/) on this website. On the other hand, it is much easier to purchase one when you arrive.
