I will be visiting Bejing between 1st Jan 2011 and 4th Jan 2011. Please let me know the possible temperature and climate during this time. Will there be snow fall? Also, we will be visiting few places like Great Wall, summer palace etc. Hence please let me know how will be the tourist season during this time. Thanks.

Mr. Andy,
January is the coldest month all the year round. The average temperature is minus 8-10 centigrade. Usually it snows, but it all depends on the weather condition. Keep an eye on the weather forecast. The Great Wall and Summer Palace open normally. For it is holidays from January 1st to 4th, so there might be more visitors then, but far less than National Day and Spring Festival.
