About:Beijing Capital International Airport

Do we need a Chinese visa if we go out of the Beijing Capital Airport?

I am a Canadian citizen, and my husband is Taiwanese. We are going to Taiwan go thourgh Beijing. We got a free hotel provide my the airplain for one night. It is less 24 hrs, but need to out of the airport. Do we need a chinese visa? If yes, can we have our visa done at the airport?

No, I'm afraid that you couldn't apply for the China Visa On Arrival(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/visa/service.htm). For you, who hold Canadian Passport, should apply for a China Transit Visa(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/visa/transit.htm) before flying to Beijing. You husband should apply for the Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents.
