About:Hong Kong Weather

Hi, my family (4 adult and 1 children with ages of 8)will travel to Hongkong on 25 dec - 29 dec. My opinion is, it's preferable to take cab/taxi from the airport to the hotel (King's hotel at wanchai) than using MTR due to the cost and time? Is my opinion is correct? Can we, 5 people, use 1 taxi to travel around?
Do we need to bring our thick jacket or the light one?

Yes, I think it is better for you to take a cab. A taxi can take 5 people and the cost to your hotel from the airport may be about HKD280-300. You have no need to take thick jacket since the temperature would be about 15~21C during that time. Light one is OK.

Hi Mr Kevin:
But according to my information got from my booked King's Hotel, all the taxi in Hong Kong can only take in a total of 5 people that is including the Taxi Driver.
For my case, the staff in King's Hotel told me that I have to take 2 taxi as I have total of 5 people excluding the taxi driver.
Kindly advise. thank once again
