Is it advisible to go to Badaling during the Chinese New Year days? I heard that there might be many tourists there. Is this true? THanks in advance.

I was once there on January 3rd of Chinese Lunar New Year and there were many people there on Badaling, especially the north part of it. The south part was better and there were fewer tourists. But the south section for sure was not as good as the north section. If you really want to go, Mutianyu Great Wall is also a nice choice, but the transportation is not as convenient as the one to Badaling.
