About:China Transit Visa

I'm travelling to London from Melbourne and my flight stops in Shangai then Beijing where I pick up the London connection. The flight from Melbourne has the same flight number even though it stops in Shangai CA 0178. Will I need a visa

If you don't leave the airport in Shanghai or Beijing, a visa is not required, otherwise, please apply for a transit visa in advance.
