About:Chinese Embassy in Qatar

Hi,

I am a Philippine passport holder and currently working here in Doha for almost 3 years. I would like to apply for China visa (L) for myself and my parents here in Qatar. My question is can I apply for my parents even though they are physically in the Philippines? Since I am the one who will shoulder all our expenses, is it permissible that I include them with my application here in Qatar? I will just let them send their passports and duly signed visa applications form.

Any reply will be much appreciated. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Mr. Pinoy

Mr.Pinoy, for your concern, you'd better contact the Chinese embassy directly from above ways of contact. According to the regulation, your parents are required valid Qatar entry record or visa/resident permit if you want to process their China visa there.

Thanks Mia. I've been calling the embassy since yesterday morning. All I got was ringing. No one bothered to answer all my calls.

Actually, you got a point there. I think my parents do really need to show a valid Qatar residence permit to be able to get China visa in Doha. Need to confirm it with the embassy. Thanks though. :D
