A tourist group must comprises five people or more who travel together both in and out of China. The documents to be submitted are as follows:
1. A group visa application letter from local travel agency.
2. Comfirmation fax or letter with Group Code from tourist bureau of China or an authorized travel agency in China.
3. Original valid passports and one photocopy of the page of the passports of the group members.
4. Three copies of properly completed and typed List of Tourist Group. what in the list must be accurate with the last name of each applicant underlined. Any misspelling or wrong information provided may lead to refusal of entry. Serial number shall start from 1 to 10 on the first page of the List. If the group has over 10 people, please start the numbering with 11 on the second page of the List. The rest may be deduced by analogy. If there is any blank on the last page of the name list, draw a straight line from the left corner down to the right corner. In order to speed up the passport examination at the border control, please label each passport with its passport number which should be identical with the passport number given on the List of Tourist Group.

The group visa fee will be, for Sri Lankan, 1300 Rupees per person for single entry, 2200 Rupees per person for double entries. For foreigners, the group visa fee will be 2000 Rupees for single entry, 3000 for double entries. Express service fee shall be charged in the same way as for individual visa application. A minimum of five (5) working days from the date of acceptance of the application on are required for the processing.
