About:Victoria Peak

Hello!

We still have not finalized our itinerary for a 4-day Hong Kong trip. This is going to be a sisters' bonding trip. Want to hear some suggestions form experts like you. Please include directions for MTR and bus rides and fares. We're staying at Dorsett Kowloon Hotel.

Day 1 Nov 27
Since my sister and I (from the Philippines) arrives at dawn of November 27 while two of my sisters coming from Bangkok arrives at about noon this day, we opt for an afternoon tour to Victoria Peak. Any other tourist destinations within the area? We don't want to miss important must-see destinations. We also want to experience Symphony of Lights, food and shopping at night.

Day 2 Nov 28
Disneyland and Citygate Outlets. We also want to experience the Cable Car ride. Is this possible? We also want to experience nightlife in Hong Kong like going to bars and chill out.

Day 3 Nov 29
This day is intended for shopping. Any suggestions where to shop for souvenirs and christmas gifts?

Day 4 Nov 30
Ocean Park Tour
Homeward bound in the evening

Thanks a lot.

Hi, Madame Tussaud Was Museum is located in the Victoria Peak. You can visit there too. You can take Peak Tram down to Central and go to SOHO, which is a catering area. TST has many food to eat either. So, if you want to get back to TST directly, go by MTR from Central, 8.5HKD. Then walk to Avenue of Stars. Watch the Symphony of LIghts there at 8pm. The hotel is close to Olympic MTR Station. You can take MTR to Hong Kong Station 10.5HKD. Then out to Central Pier. Take bus 15 for 9.8HKD to the top of Victoria Peak.
Day 2, possible to experience the cable car. It is 25 minutes one way from Tung Chung to Ngong Ping by cable. 1-2 hours is enough to see that place. The cable is available since 10am, so, you can take MTR earlier from Olympic to Tung Chung Station (Exit B). MTR fare 15.5HKD. The cable car costs 107HKD for round trip, per person. Watch out your time in the shopping place. The fireworks at Disneyland is at9pm. You can get back to hotel after that.
Day 3, for shopping, you can go to Harbor City within walking distance to your hotel. If you have time, you can get around Causeway Bay, for there are many boutique stores. You may find gifts back.
Day 4 Take mtr to Hong Kong/Central Station first in the morning. Take bus 629 at Star Ferry in Central or Central Exchange Square to Ocean Park directly. 10.6HKD for bus fare and 10.5HKD for MTR fare. The same way back to hotel.
