About:China Tourist Visa

First of all, thanks for the quick answer and the good information. now i have one more question. i want to go to china from 20. dez till 02. jan but my passport expires in 04.2011. can i still get a visa or does the passport need to be valid six month longer then the leaving date of china?

I'm afraid that you can't get a China visa because a passport with at least 6 months validity is required for China visa application, once you get a China visa, your passport doesn't need to be valid for at least 6 months when you leave for China. Now, the problem is you can't get a China visa first.
