About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

Hi

I am travelling from Taiwan to the UK going through Shanghai airport I am booked to stay overnight in the Ramada airport hotel. will I be allowed to do this without a visa or am I required to stay within the airport terminal area? The transit time is less than 24 hours

UK passport or other? Anyway, if you hold UK passport, you have to handle transit visa to get out of the airport.

It is a UK passport. Will I get the transit visa when I arrive at the airport?
