About:Shanghai Taxi

Hi. We are arriving at Shanghai Pudong Airport and going to our hotel The Ascott at 282 Huai Hai Road Central. What is the best way to get to there? Can airport taxi takes 3 adults and 2 children? If so, what is the estimated fare? Many thanks.

Hi, I think the best way for you is to take subway line 2 from the airport and get off at People's Square. Then take a taxi to your hotel for about 2km. The taxi fare will be about CNY12.
How old are your children? It may be a little huddle with five people in the taxi. Anyway, try to persuade the taxi driver to take you all. The taxi fare may be about CNY150-160.
