i have a chinese visa valid to 29th december 2010 , the given visa is in my old passport

I have a Chinese visa valid to 29th December 2010 , the given Visa is in my old passport but I have renewed my passport (I got another passport), it doesn't have the Chinese Visa . can I travel to China with my old and new passports and come back home before my Visa get expired ? are there any procedures should be done when I reach there ?
