Harbin Early Winter November 2010Saw the news reported on Harbin early winter shower.How was the early November 2010 winter now ?I will be visting Harbin in mid Dec 2010 and was wandering whats the cold temperature is like ? I come from Singapore and its a tropical hot country.I have been to many cold winter countries before but not Harbin as its expected to be extremely cold.What are the types of clothings, apparatus etc etc we need to look into and bring to Harbin. Where are the best shopping area and winter clothing shops found in Harbin.Appreciate some kind advice from fellow travellers or local Harbin friends.Many thanks.

Hi, it will be very cold outdoor in Harbin but there is heating system indoor, for outdoor activities, you need very thick clothes and shoes to keep warm, you can go to Central Avenue, there are shopping malls and department stores there. The temperature wound be more than 10-20C below zero.
