For USA citizen, the fee is 140 US$ for China visa no matter which type of China visa you get.

I think it is very interesting, and I'm not happy about it, that with all the money that comes to China from the USA, especially Wal-Mart, that American citizens pay 3/4 times for our Chinese visa than someone from any other country on the planet.

Maybe we charge more to Chinese citizen if they want to visit US, so that is all concerning mutual agreement.
